Hump Day
I'm pooped. I'm blah. I'm hurting. Hard to give an objective view of the day when I'm just not feeling it. The bones in my feet feel like they're broken. Hiking was next to unbearable, although our explorations of Paramount Park were pretty. Classes (stretch, circuit, kickboxing, mountain, H2O intervals) were fine, but I just didn't want to be there. Sorry ... I'm stuck on a downer.
Too bad there is not IV ibuprofen there. I am sure I would be on a constant drip. Hot tub and massage instead? Think of how much you are doing compared to most people of your youth. Pat yourself on the back, you were there. That is most of the battle!
Thank you, guys. And you're right, ---, everyone gets the downer day/days. It just really surprised me. Shelli, I'm taking enough Advil to keep them in business and, yep, the hot tub sure helps.

ReplyDeleteYou're allowed a downer day! You had a great day the day before - let yourself feel the downer day and the good days will come back quickly!
